This is the Norwesco Loaf Tank - 1050 Gallon. The loaf tanks are designed for a variety of applications. Its rectangular shape allows for placement within pickup beds or it may be mounted on various equipment trailers for use as a mobile water supply. This line of tanks may also be used in a variety of stationary storage applications. Our Norwesco Loaf Tanks are constructed with a UV stabilized resin and a specific gravity rating of 1.5 (12.5 lbs per gallon).

I have a couple questions: 1) Is this tank rated for potable water usage? 2) Looking at both the pictures and the drawing, I see no mounting tags and the recesses across the top do not extend fully from side to side. How would one mount this in a truck bed?

1) This tank is made with FDA approved polyethylene and is safe for potable water. 2) The manufacturer does not provide any hold down bands with this tank, so you would have to use ratchet straps or fabricate your own hold down bands.

Norwesco Tank Warranty Details:

Manufacturer warrants that if this part is proven to be defective in material or workmanship within three (3) years from the date of manufacture, manufacturer will (at company's option) either replace or repair said part. This standard limited warranty does not apply to damages resulting from misuse, improper application of recommended materials, accident, or improper installation or maintenance. Remedy to the buyer is limited to the replacement of any defective product (or its component where applicable), F.O.B. point of manufacture. The buyer's remedy under this warranty does not include any other direct or indirect consequential damages which result from defects in material and/or workmanship of its products.
