This is a replacement 18 Inch sending unit for a RDS fuel tank (5 Hole Mounting). This sending unit includes gaskets and screws.

We recommend purchasing a sending unit that is 1 inch shorter than the depth of your tank. The unit reads 33 Ohms at full and 240 Ohms at empty. 12 Volt only. One wire goes to the battery and the other to the gauge.

The proper way to measure a sending unit is to start your measurement from the flange that is flush with the top of the fuel tank and then measure down to the bottom of the sending unit.

RDS warrants all products to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year from invoice ship date from our warehouse. If upon our inspection we deem the item to be defective, RDS will determine whether to repair or replace the defective item. It is the customers responsibility to ship the item to RDS. No cost for labor, installation, or missing contents will be reimbursed. Damages due to shipping and handling, improper installation, abuse - intentional or accidental, or normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. Warranty is void if the tank has been altered.
